FREE groups for MH Professionals

Hello!

I host two free groups for MH professionals. They are an EMDR and Sex Therapy consult group and a Legal and Ethical Review Group. Brief descriptions and downloadable fliers below.

EMDR & Sex Therapy Consult group:

This is a FREE monthly EMDR & Sex Therapy consult group. The purpose of the group is for MH providers who are either certified or interested in combining EMDR and Sex therapy together can meet, network, have community and get case and protocol support. The flier for the next month's meetup is below as a downloadable document with the relevant information and registration info.

WA Legal and Ethical Review Group:

This is a FREE quarterly (every three months) group that is open to MH providers in WA state to help us keep up with the ever evolving ethics and legal standards in our field. The overall aim of the group is to help each other as there is so much within this legal and ethical landscape that changes. The goal is to share knowledge and work smarter not harder. EMDRIA approved consultation

Have you completed your EMDR training and are looking for extra support with consultation but NOT wishing to get certified? Are you looking for a case consultation or to get your EMDRIA EMDR certification? Want to learn how to implement EMDR into your practice but not seeking EMDRIA certification? Want to become a consultant in training (CIT)?

For any of the above I can offer guidance. You do not have to be working towards EMDRIA certification to get consultation and I will not push you to do so. I am happy to provide the pros and cons of both but if you are uninterested that it not something we need to chat about. I offer consultation to go and get your EMDR Certified Clinician through EMDRIA for those interested. If you are interested in certification, I can help you through the certification process. I have a focus on helping EMDR practitioners who are neurodivergent, disabled, or chronically ill where the "traditional" model of what therapy looks like does not work OR where your EMDR training really did not help you understand the point of using EMDR. I want you to know that if you left EMDR basic training feeling overwhelmed, confused, or just frustrated (I was crying by the end of day 2!) that you can still do EMDR and I will happily help and give you tools and resources that may work better for your brain and how you learn. EMDR as long as it follow the fidelity of the overall process and model does not need to be rigid and actually has a lot of room to play and be creative!

My style around consultation is focused on strengths and interests. Consultation is made to help you tailor EMDR to your practice. I want you to feel not only competent but confident when you are using EMDR in session. I want you to feel that EMDR fits your clinical style while holding to the integrity and fidelity of EMDR. We are two humans and colleagues in the room together and just as much as the protocol matters, so does the person of the therapist. All of those conversations are welcome and encouraged in consultation.

60 minutes-established professional $150
